Not an alumnus but...

I am not an ex-student but a current teacher at the school. I have been teaching at San Clemente for 9 years. I love the school and am fascinated by its wonderful history. The school has a real sense of community: students, families and staff. It may be a bit different from when it was a girls' boarding school but ex-students can be assured the spirit in the school is as strong as ever. One of the inspiring things for me is that the wonderful things that are hapeening now for students from hugely diverse backgrounds and talents are echoes of what happened in the past at San Clemente. I am really looking forward to hearing of other peoples' memories of San Clemente.

  1. Well, whoever said that an old dog (or school) can't learn new tricks? I never thought I'd see the day that San Clemente had a blog, yet here I am. Well done!

I'd love to share a memory or two, except that my memory seems to be obscured by vivid recollections of a certain teacher's (impressive) tie collection...

Best of Luck with the blog,

  2. Not to mention a particular set of "Bold" cuff-links that his Yr 9 class noticed being worn the other day...
